Comes with a nice soft case and neck strap

Do you have to assemble these binoculars?

No. The only "assembly" that is required is to snap together the halter that needs to be snapped onto the Glass case. The binoculars are fully assembled and have removable protectors on the eye pieces and the lenses. No assembly or batteries (lol) required.
