Sony Ericsson Stereo Portable Handsfree HPM-85

A good buy from Sony Ericsson and CCM Accessories. I may not have my old Sony Ericsson K800 anymore, but this is compatible with the Sony SBH-50 Bluetooth Headset adapter and the sound is perfect!

This headset is very nice if you like a clamp on your head that forces loud noise to your ears. The volume button doesn't change to a quiet enough setting and it is too loud for me use for more than about 5 minutes.

Great headphones;better than any I have had in the past and they are better than the current earbuds they keep selling. The fast port connection is troublesome;phone will be connected,while it loses the connection due to the contacts from the headset fast port connection and the phone itself. I have backup connections,but I like having wired controls for playing and the volume. Volume control does not work when streaming video and audio,a minor quibble. Highly recommend.

I have been using my Sony Ericsson as an MP3 player for a couple of years but external noise interference with the in-ear headphones supplied used to drive me nuts. I tried adapters allowing me to connect a proper set of headphones to my phone but could hardly hear anything. I eventually succumbed and bought a proper MP3 player but this just wasn't as convenient as using my phone, which I always have with me, and so I switched back to my Sony Ericsson.So when I found these headphones I thought they were the perfect solution. In some ways they are. The sound quality is great: clear and really loud. They also block out interference from external noise so you can actually hear podcasts etc while on a busy street. They are lightweight and easy to carry and they even look good.BUT there is one huge problem and that is they seem to have a wierd connectivity issue. As a result, nearly every time you try to do something with the player (e.g. change volume or jump to a new track), the phone suddenly stops recognizing the headphones are there and you have to unplug and replug the connection several times to get them to work again.I am confident this was not just a one-off glitch because I have tried two sets of headphones from two different buyers and tried each set on two different Sony Ericsson phones (C510 and Elm). I had exactly the same problem each time.When they work they are great and once they are playing a podcast or an album they run smoothly, with no interruptions or disconnections. Despite the problems, I continue to use them three months after buying them, which probably says a lot for their quality. But unless you are really keen to use your Sony Ericsson as an MP3 player, these probably aren't the product for you.

Dieses Headset ist mit der Fernbedienung einfach zu bedienen, ohne nach dem Handy suchen zu müssen und dann eventuell mit Handschuhen dran rum zufummeln um doch Funktionen aufzurufen, die man noch gar nicht kannte. Oder man ruft Leute an, von deren Existenz man noch gar nichts wußte... .Der Kopfhörer hat einen genialen sauberen Klang und kann mittels normalen 3,5mm Klinkenstecker durch ein anderes System ersetzt werden, da das Mikrophon vom Kopfhörer getrennt ist.Zum Beispiel durch ein In-Ohrsystem, damit man nicht mit den doch etwas großen Kopfhörern durch die Öffentlichkeit tapsen und ihn in die Frisur mit einbauen muß.Damit kann man den Kopfhörer auch an anderen Systemen nutzen, allerdings nur mit einer Verlängerung, da das Kabel am Kopfhörer doch sehr kurz ist. Ohne Verlängerung wären dann Muskelverspannungen und Rückenschmerzen vorprogrammiert.Alles in allem ein sehr gutes, Kabel gebundenes Headset, daß ich jederzeit empfehlen würde. Allerdings ist dieses Headset nur an den Handys zu gebrauchen, welche über diesen speziellen Fastport verfügen. Damit ist dieses nicht für Handys der etwas älteren aber noch immer weit verbreiteten und beliebten Handys von SE zu gebrauchen.Zusammenfassend kann man dieses Headset für diejenigen empfehlen, die auf einen sehr guten Klang Wert legen, bei der Verwendung des Kopfhörers flexibel sein wollen und mit dem Kabelsalat kein Problem haben.

Habe mir diesen Kophörer wegen des sehr kurzen Kabels bestellt, da ich es mit dem MW600 benutze. Am Anfang war ich ebenfalls überrascht vom guten Sound - bei diesem Preis wirklich nicht vorstellbar.Doch, muss ich sagen, das je länger man sie benutzt das Produkt sein wahres Gesicht zeigt. Der Kopfhörer kommt bei lauter Musik schnell an seine Grenzen, schlechter Tragekomfort (zumindest bei meinem Kopf) - nichts für den längeren Gebrauch und mir sind 2 ziemlich schnell kaputt gegangen, da die Verarbeitung des Hörers (billige Plastik) entsprechend ist und das obwohl ich sie eher selten nutze. Später war ich dann auch nicht mehr vom Sound überzeugt und man hat dann doch relativ schnell gemerkt in welcher Liga dieser Hörer spielt.Für den Preis sollte man auch nicht viel mehr erwarten, so realistisch sollte man schon sein, allerdings bevor ich mir jetzt auch noch einen dritten bestelle und dort wieder die Plastik kaputt geht, bestelle ich mir nun etwas höherwertiges und habe dann hoffentlich Ruhe. Muss jeder für sich wissen - trotzdem 3 Sterne wegen dem guten Sound für den Preis. (Preis/Leistung)

These appear identical to the Sony MDR-V300 DJ monitoring headphones but are fitted with a shorter lead that plugs into the 3.5mm socket on the microphone housing. The microphone lead also carries a control pod that allows remote adjustment of the phone's volume control, start, stop, pause and track change of the music player or station change of the FM radio. Phone calls can be accepted and ended using the button on the microphone. The lead serves as an antenna for the FM radio which would not be usable if wireless (e.g. Bluetooth) headphones were used. The sound quality is as good as one could expect from the Sony headphones.

Considering this was picked up for £8 I am extremely satisfied with this as it's an absolute bargain. It is not as good as the top range but hey what do you want and the base and clarity is very good and nothing more than your would expect from a sony
