Great for Search and Rescue
I have been using this rig for two years for search and rescue. It is very convenient to interchange pouches as my gear changes, or as my tasks dictate. It fits very well and is very adjustable. I have worn it in the summer and in the winter with bulky jackets or layers. I also wear this in connection the Condor hydro harness which is also wonderful. The are both very durable as in SAR we are constant going through dense brush, briars, vines, etc...

Great value for a minimalistic chest rig. Could be near perfect with a couple improvements.
I wanted to put together an inexpensive, minimalist chest rig specifically for range use with my Scorpion Evo and PCCs. This Condor rig fits that purpose very well. It's got plenty of adjustment for any size. Once adjusted it's quite comfortable and the shoulder straps do a decent job of distributing weight. I'd prefer an H-Harness but the included setup is satisfactory. The sewn-on velcro keepers and triglides make extra strap management extremely clean and easy. Really nice touch. It's minimalistic and has just enough PALS webbing (eight across) for the pouches I wanted to mount. Additionally the webbing is triple stitched and seems sturdy enough for my intended use. As usual time will tell how durable it really is. Gotta mention that unlike most of the Chinese made nylon gear I've bought on Amazon I didn't have to go over the thing for a half hour burning loose threads down. Much appreciated. If I had to make suggestions, I'd reduce the rig's height by a couple inches. Three rows high of PALS webbing is sufficient. Remove a row and it'll slim the rig down nicely. Basically make this a Condor version of the HSGI AO (which it pretty much already aspires to be). Also ditch the X-Harness and go with an H-Harness. They offer it on other rigs so make it happen on this one!For a $20 modular chest rig I'm happy so far. I can tell they put a good amount of thought into the overall design. With a couple more improvements/modifications it would be near perfect. Between this rig, my LCS Cobra belt, and several pouches I've bought, I'm impressed by Condor's seeming improvement in quality compared to what I've encountered in the past.

and I'm glad I didn't try to buy a bigger one
It's a little bigger than I imagined. It's just the right size, though, and I'm glad I didn't try to buy a bigger one. I'm 5' 6" with a 30" waist and I had to tighten the straps up quite a bit, but it works fine. I got this instead of a vest or a plate carrier because I wanted a rig that I could use in conjunction with a backpack. I tried it with my SOG ninja day pack and it seems fine. It's less comfortable than not having it on, but it's not bad.I wanted a rig that would be low-profile and ride high enough that it wouldn't interfere with using the handgun on my belt. This passed the test. I can carry my Ruger LCR in a leather OWB holster and the chest rig doesn't interfere. It's well-designed and I like the swivel buckles. The map pouch is a nice touch and is the full size of the chest panel. I think you could even stick a kevlar panel in there if you found one the right size.I don't like the placement of the front shoulder strap buckles. They seem like they'll get in the way of shouldering your rifle on a smaller person like me. Not a big deal if you're getting this for airsoft, but a little more so if you plan on running it with your 12 gauge like I do.Molle loops and front velcro are great. I don't think you can get better than this for the price. I would have no reason to doubt it if someone took the tags off and told me it was a $100 piece of gear.

Functional and Adjustable
I'm a short fatty, I'm 5'5" have a 44" waist and the straps on this thing still had plenty of room still left for bigger people. The panel itself is a bit smaller than I anticipated, but should fit most of your molle gear upon reason. I actually outfitted this with gear for my sister that is a bit shorter than me, and fit and gear works well. Even being a short dude, I think I'll end up buying the Condor modular that covers the entire torso region.

Best modular chest rig for smaller people!
I ordered this chest rig along with two other more expensive models with similar designs from other manufacturers (tactical tailor and high speed gear) and this is the one that worked best for me. I am of small stature - 5'8.5", 145 lbs - and most "tactical" gear is designed for larger people. I was able to adjust these straps down and use the velcro straps at the end of each strap to get the excess fabric under control.Furthermore, I was looking into chest rigs not for tactical oper8tions but rather to carry part of the load of a hiking load in the front as opposed to all in the backpack. The straps don't interfere with the padded straps and sternum strap of a traditional backpacking pack.I attached a Condor T and T pouch with the included PALS attachment straps and it's a tight fit. I could fit 8 Clif bars in there, multiple tool, flashlight, and GPS, and I don't feel much weight up front.Price can't be beat.

Buy one and don't look back! Compact and effective!
I have two of these rigs in service. I first bought a black one for use with the fire department as a radio and utility rig for exterior operations. I bought a second for use with the US Volunteer Rangers. Both rigs have stood out as some of the most useful, compact and comfortable load bearing equipment I have ever used. The rig interacts perfectly with a backpacks straps, sternum strap and kidney belt and still allows access to vital equipment. On the OD green one, I have my radio pouch, a utility pouch and my Esee 4 knife. In addition I was able to attach a Gerber tool and a surefire light to the front of the utility pouch. In the utility pouch I have a set of compact binoculars, a compass, map section and energy bars along with a survival straw. I also have a magazine insert which allow for 3 AR style magazines. With all this, the rig is comfortable enough to wear all day and gives me a lot of gear right at my fingertips. Buy one and don't look back!
