Second time ive purchased this mouse. I bought one for me and my partner at the time. Wonderful mouse experience. Its light, glides perfectly on hard and soft mouse pads. It is extremely easy to connect. The usb and battery included are outstanding. No connection issues even from about 15ft away from my laptop (sometimes its hooked up to the TV. Great button layout for both simple gaming, entertainment, and work. Awesome product and the white lasts a LONG time.

I've tried a lot of wireless mice recently and I love the idea of a rechargeable device but they all seem to have a 1-2 second wake time, or require a click to wake which is a total non started for me. The G305 wakes instantly when I move it, which is very important to me, and I just use a rechargeable AA battery. I use it for work and gaming and have no complaints about responsiveness or resolution. It feels solid but not too heavy. I had to disable the left side thumb buttons because I accidentally press them all the time or they bump the side of my keyboard but that's an issue with basically every 5-button mouse and no reason to detract from this model. I bought this to replace a $100 Razer mouse that died and it's been an excellent value.

This is seriously the best mouse out there. It has a GREAT weight and sturdiness. I went from the $100 glorious model O 2 wireless to this thing and it was a great switch. The former feels cheap and weak compared to this thing. This feels and looks like an $120 mouse. The buttons feel great, the Logitech software is excellent, and the scroll wheel feels awesome. It takes 1 AA battery which I found odd at first but I love it. The cover on the top slides off and you put the battery in there (it isn't noticeable AT ALL that it is able to be removed). Under the cover there is a slot for the 2.4GHz dongle that by the way is really fast and precise. (There isn't a charging port which I honestly like. It adds to the overall aesthetic of the mouse) 1 Duracell AA battery got me close to 4-6 months of use time which is bizarre. I went a little overboard and got rechargeable batteries which is by no means necessary. Don't worry about burning through batteries. The led on the top shines red when it's low, I don't know the specific percentage, but I change it when it hits red, which I think was only once in the 6-7 months I've had this thing, MAYBE twice. I LOVE THIS MOUSE. It's really good for gaming and everyday use.

Go check that out too and buy them together so you do not have to carry the mouse by itself. Problem solved. Now, this is the mouse review. Where do I start. I did not originally plan to use this as a gaming mouse. Yes, I know, it is a gaming mouse. Maybe I should actually game more. I mostly use it for work, and maybe some very light gaming on the weekends. The main reason I bought this mouse is the weight. I like heavier mice. Is it good for your wrist. Probably not. But I like the feel. Compared to a regular office mouse, this is definitely heavier and does not glide around effortlessly like those super light office mice. It feels more controlled and more planted. Oh, and just so you know, this is not a Bluetooth mouse. You do have to plug the little USB receiver from the mouse into your laptop or desktop. It is one of those tiny dongles, so do not lose it or you will have a bad day. As a gaming mouse at this price point, I honestly do not think much can beat it. Tracking is solid, performance is reliable, and it just works without any drama. For the money, this is easily one of the best gaming mice you can buy. If you want an ultra light mouse that floats across the desk, this might not be for you. If you like a mouse with some weight, solid build, and great performance for the price, this one is hard to beat. Work mouse, weekend gaming mouse, or both. It does the job very well.

Pros of the Logitech G305: Cheap, long battery life and an elegant look to any setup. Cons of the Logitech G305: slippery grip, heavy due to battery. The Logitech G305 in my testing seems to be compatible with every device with a USB-A port. I've also noted that for being a mouse made in 2018 there is little no latency at all. Overall this is a comfortable little mouse I'd add to any setup of mine
